Concorde Group entered Calgary’s hospitality scene in 1987 with the opening of Republik, a college bar dedicated to alternative music fans and 35 years later has grown to become one of Canada’s largest and most diverse hospitality companies. Now with a total of 21 establishments under its banner, each with its own unique vision, Concorde Group remains focused on bringing exceptional dining and entertainment experiences to Calgary. JUNE 1, 1987
REPUBLIK OPENED

Long-regarded as Calgary’s premiere live music venue, the Republik hosts the hottest bands and DJs seven nights a week. The newly-renovated interior boasts incredible sound and sight-lines, with multiple bars spread throughout the various rooms to heighten the visitor’s enjoyment. You haven’t experienced live music until you’ve experienced it at the Republik!

Flames Central is Calgary’s hockey and one of the city’s leading sports bar and concert venues. With dozens of high definition big screen TV’s spread throughout, a three-storey viewing “virtual arena”, you haven’t experienced a live sporting or concert event quite like this before!

With two locations across Calgary, Local Public Tavern is quickly becoming the pub of choice for all who visit! Local 510 and 522 all feature a warm atmosphere and interior, ample drink list and distinctive menu, and several high-definition TVs. MODEL MILK OPENED

Model Milk throws out all the checklists, preconceptions and rules that govern what a “good” restaurant should be.
Instead, Model Milk has taken every-thing they love about restaurants, added a menu created by award-winning chef Justin Leboe, and housed it in an incredible historical space to create the ultimate dinner party atmosphere.

Barbecue season never ends at The Palomino! One of downtown Calgary’s favourite smokehouses offers a tantalizing menu of bountiful favourites, huge selection of beer, a wonderfully unique patio, and a host of great special events! The live music room downstairs is always hopping and features a wide variety of genres from local and international acts throughout the week. The Palomino offers an authentic and distinctive Western experience that is second to none.

CLIVE BURGER OPENED

Clive Burger is the revival of the classic American burger stand – all the favourites made-to-order and served counter-style. With a welcome focus on fresh, burgers are made from 100% natural Alberta beef right in front of the customer. A carefully selected roster of craft beers, wine, soda pops and custard milkshakes wash down a great meal. Clive Burger has also taken great care to reduce its environmental footprint by using 100% compostable packaging and using local ingredients whenever possible.

NATIONAL ON 17TH OPENED

Our original location, on Calgary’s bustling 17th Avenue, has been a popular hangout since its doors first opened. The food menu is big and well-considered, and dishes pair well with our curated selection of craft beers from small North American brewers. A huge oyster bar and robust wine & cocktail menu round out your options. This location also boasts a lively, sun-drenched patio in the warmer seasons.

national on 10th opened

At National on 10th, we’ve maintained the charm of our 17th Avenue location, while creating the best place to eat, drink, and play in the city’s core. Settle old scores on the ping pong and foosball tables, or head downstairs to bowl a few frames at our 8-lane bowling alley. And of course, there’s National’s coveted food menu to explore at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Plus, wine, cocktails, and a generous helping of craft beers from small brewers.

BOURBON ROOM opened

Recently relocated to the second floor of Model Milk building, the Bourbon Room started as a speakeasy style tavern serving up cocktails, brown spirits, beer and food in a relaxed, vintage style setting. Voted by The Bourbon Review as one of the ‘10 Best International Bourbon Bars in the World’, there is no better spot in Canada to sip on America’s only native spirit.

DOUBLE ZERO CHINOOK OPENED

Double Zero Chinook is a welcome departure from what is expected from a pizzeria. While the recipes are firmly rooted in Italy, a great deal of ingredients are sourced locally from the finest Alberta farmers and producers to fill out our menu of entrees and salads. We have an expansive wine list filled with top-rated vintages, selected to compliment all the flavours of our food menu. Internationally-renowned beers available by the bottle or draught provide a second-to-none environment for Happy Hour and sporting events.

Pigeon Hole OPENED

Recognized as Canada’s Best New Restaurantof 2015 by Air Canada’s enRoute magazine, Pigeonhole was first dreamed up in the back of a London taxi. It was conceptualized as a place for spontaneity, a place you’d discover on your way to dinner and never leave. In the chef’s words,the snack bar is “left of centre” with no specific culinary focus and includes a small but articulate natural wine, beer and cocktail list. Focused on serving small plates, the menu will give customers a culinary experience like no other in Calgary.
